When electronic devices first created like televisions and telephones, it first used analog signals. However due to the advancement of technology, digital instruments overpowers analog.
Which one is better?
Both analog and digital television signals fade away as they travel through the air. As they spread out to farther distances, the strength of the signal decreases. When an analog signal becomes weaker, the background radiation and signals from other sources the greater effect it has on affecting the amplitude. As a result becomes distorted, produces fuzzy images and poor sound quality. Because digital signals only pick up the 'on' or 'off' pulses, the noises cannot interrupt it despite being weak. Therefore digital signals are better than analog.
