The Electromagnetic Spectrum
The Electromagnetic Spectrum also known as EMS is the range of of all types of electromagnetic radiation. The other types of EM radiation included in the EMS are microwaves, infrared light, ultraviolet light and gamma-rays. They can all be reflected, refracted and diffracted.
To not be confused by EM waves and sound waves, here is a list of differences

What is an electromagnetic wave?Electromagnetic waves are waves that can travel through a vacuum (empty space), thus don't need a medium or matter. They travel through electrical and magnetic fields that are generated by charged particles.

How does it relate to Analog and digital?Analog and Digital waves are relevant to the first four waves: radio, microwaves, infrared and visible as they are used for communication. Moreover analog and digital are used in phones, satellites and radios.
